What has been your biggest challenge and how your team has overcome it?
When someone tries one of our topicals and it works for them, they'll be a customer forever, but helping someone get to that initial step--trying a topical for the first time--hasn't always been easy. We love breaking down the science of cannabis, and we've found that it allows people to feel more comfortable trying our products. Some of our most loyal customers are folks who used to have a lot of misconceptions about cannabis but who now feel much more connected to the industry. Once a customer is game to use topicals, they're going to feel more comfortable branching out to other products and brands as well--which we love to see!
What are some upcoming innovations/projects you are most excited for?
We have a new line of tinctures we're super excited to launch.
Any future predictions/trends you foresee in your product category?
In the topical space, luxury products are going to be huge; CBD has been such a big player in upscale skincare products, and it's hard to imagine THC won't get the same treatment down the road. This goes hand-in-hand with an increasing acceptance of topicals.
In the tincture space, we're excited to see more water-based tinctures in the market!
