Small Legacy Farmers

What has been the biggest challenge and how has the team overcome it?

A historical challenge we’ve had is convincing dispensary owners to promote sun-grown cannabis and providing smaller, legacy farmers with adequate shelf space. This has been difficult to overcome.

What are some upcoming innovations/projects you are most excited for?

We’re really excited about programs like Weed Like Change and look forward to getting out to the dispensaries that support our cause and educate customers on sustainably-grown cannabis.

Any future predictions/trends you foresee in your product category?

I feel like the future is bright for us but it’s going to take some time for customers to understand the differences between corporate cannabis and smaller, sun-grown cannabis farms. Big corporate grows can have significant impacts on the environment and customers may not have a full awareness of what exactly they’re ingesting, which can have harmful impacts as well.
