What has been your biggest challenge and how your team has overcome it?
Getting buyers to see past the perception that the focus has to been on their top-5 selling SKUS and to see the value in providing consumers choice for brands that support craft farms and reflect the diverse cannabis community. Persistence and education is how we've navigated this.
What are some upcoming innovations/projects you are most excited for?
We're working on some marketing and product collaborations with other like-minded brands. For us, it's about demonstrating that there are ways for independent companies to celebrate and uplift each other to collectively grow our influence and reach those consumers who not only care about quality, but also the companies they support with their dollars. Look out for the new products this Spring!
Any future predictions/trends you foresee in your product category?
A continued focus on the full spectrum and the entourage effect. We sometimes joke that we were five years too early for the market but we're finally seeing some traction in the idea that THC levels aren't the only marker of quality.
