OAKLAND, Calif.—Nabis, California’s leading licensed cannabis wholesale marketplace, today announced key executive team appointments and initiatives supporting businesses operating in America’s biggest regulated market ($4.4 billion in 2020 sales). As the largest portfolio of cannabis brands globally, Nabis will utilize critical board appointments with the California Cannabis Industry Association (CCIA) and Cannabis Chamber of Commerce alongside a prestigious speaking opportunity with Hall of Flowers—to help California retailers and brands of all sizes.
Nabis Co-Founder and President Jun S. Lee will speak at Hall of Flowers on Sept. 23, sharing his perspective on the industry’s trajectory, utilizing insights from longtime experience in cannabis and tech. Mr. Lee’s recent appointment with the CCIA will drill into economic and legal impacts on businesses.
Nabis’ Head of Business Development, Brian Dewey, already a board member of the California Distribution Association, has been elected to the Cannabis Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
“Nabis has worked with hundreds of companies in all phases of growth,” said Mr. Lee. “It’s not only our duty to share our observations but use them to benefit California’s cannabis industry as a whole.”
Nabis has grown to nearly 215 employees, hiring executive team members with deep operational experience at top national cannabis, tech and consumer-goods companies, including KIVA, Postmates, Starbucks and Live Nation.
“Nabis’ talented targeted industry talent of executives is a testament to our mission of creating a platform primed for growth in this burgeoning ecosystem,” said Vince Ning, CEO and Co-Founder of Nabis.
